The DO NOT PET VEST Changed My Life!

Ya’ll the Do Not Pet Vest changed my life! I had always recommended them to clients whos dogs were leery of strangers, or had a bite history, or were to overly excited when meeting new people. It never occurred to me to use one for a “stable” dog, until our family Disney trip this summer.

My little precious Lavender is a stable pup. She loves people, being out in public and could care less about other dogs. However, when we are out in public she just prefers to do her own thing….and so do I. When I am out walking my dog I want to be able to enjoy the walk, and not be approached constantly about petting.

So, I thought to myself we are taking Lavender to Disney with us what can I do to prevent the wave of children from approaching us…and then the lightbulb went off “get a Do Not Pet Vest”.

This thing I swear has magical powers…not once did we get approached by any children, or adults asking to pet Lavender. Even when she did show interest in someone by sniffing their shoe they didn’t try to reach down to pet her!!!

Anytime I take her out in public even if it is just a walk around the block she will be wearing her Do Not Pet Vest! I recommend them to anyone who wants a peaceful walk with their dog.
