Welcome to the new P.E.T. Community!

Hello Everyone!

Brittany here. I created this blog, because one of the P.E.T. members recommended that I create a place within the portal for other members to be able to meet each other, ask questions, post enrichment ideas, and more! I thought this was an AMAZING idea! so, here we are.

I will be posting a NEW topic every month for everyone to discuss, and post about.

For this first entry I would love for everyone to introduce themselves and tell us a little bit about your fur babies!

I’ll go first. I have two fur babies. Harlan who is a 12 year old Aussie and Lavender Jane who is a miniature dachshund. I am not going to lie. I am OBSESSED with Lavender. I have always wanted a weenie. Don’t ask me why I have just always been drawn to them. She is my everything. She has so much personality. She is playful, loving, sassy, silly, and a diva at times, but again obsessed. Harlan, now Harlan Boy is my sweet sweet boy. He follows me around everywhere, and loves to walk around with me when I am out in my garden. Believe it or not, he is a reactive boy to other dogs and people. I know I know, I am the trainer and I am suppose to have well behaved dogs right? Well, for him. He would prefer just to be with his people and roam our farm so that is his happy. I am not going to try and change that. Now with Lavender, I did do training with her, and she loves going places and being out and about. She just completely ignores everyone and everything on walks. She is a “I’m busy walking, and sniffing don’t bother me” type and I am fine with that. I could go on and on, about my fur babies but I want to hear about yours. So, post away!
